An antique French opalescent and stained glass vase designed by Rene Lalique and decorated with flower images molded to the ovoid body. Signed and dated 1896. Rene Jules Lalique, 1860 to 1945, a French jeweler, medallist, and glass designer known for his creations of glass art, perfume bottles, vases, jewelry, chandeliers, clocks, and automobile hood ornaments.
