Lidiya Masterkova is known for Abstract oil and watercolor painting, ink collage, mixed media, fabric art. Lidia Alekseevna Masterkova, a Russian nonconformist artist from the Lianozovo circle. She was one of the first to turn to metaphysical abstraction. Masterkova endows geometric figures with sacred meaning, uses the circle motif, and creates three dimensional textures.
