RUSSIAN NUDE FEMALE PAINTING BY IGOR RUBAN
Igor Ruban, Russian, 1912 to 1996, oil on board painting depicting a standing nude female figure. Signed lower left by the artist. Igor Pavlovitch Ruban was a Soviet artist. In 1942, he graduated from Moscow Art Institute and two years later went on his first Arctic expedition. Igor Ruban spent more than 40 years on journeys, where he kept creating paintings.
