A Russian Orthodox icon representing Saint Blessed Xenia of Saint Petersburg. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Later half of the 20th century. Saint Xenia, ca. 1720s – 1803, was a Russian fool-for-Christ and is now venerated as the patron saint of St. Petersburg. Christian Orthodox Icons, Religious Items And Collectibles.
