AMERICAN MOUNTAIN OIL PAINTING BY CHARLES SELMI
Charles R. Selmi, American, 1933 to 1994, oil painting on masonite depicting a winter forest mountain landscape. Signed and copyright, lower right. Framed. Charles Selmi is known for Marine, landscape, and western scene painting. Charles R. Selmi was born on 16 June 1933 in Philadelphia. He attended the Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia and studied with other artists. He painted marine scenes, landscapes, and western scenes, working only in acrylics. He had his own gallery in West Dennis, MA in 1973 and a gallery in Conway, NH in 1988. Mr. Selmiss work was featured on the cover of Down East magazine in July 1977. He exhibited his work in galleries on the east coast. One of a kind artwork.
