Hand-colored lithograph on paper, Plate 24 from August Kollners Views of American Cities. Titled Suspension Bridge, Niagara Falls underneath. Dated 1848. Wooden frame. Augustus Kollner, 1812 to 1906, was an American artist based in Philadelphia. Views of American Cities is a series of 54 plates that was published between 1848 to 1851 by Goupil, Vibert of New York and Paris with the printing done in Paris by Deroy and Cattier.
