CHINESE PORCELAIN FIGURES OF THE SANXING DEITIES
A lot of three vintage Chinese hand-painted and glazed porcelain figurines. The sculptures represent the Sanxing, three gods of the three stars or constellations considered essential in Chinese astrology and mythology, Jupiter, Ursa Major, and Canopus. The gods are known as Fu, Lu, and Shou, and are the embodiments of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity. The deities are presented in richly ornamented traditional clothing. Hieroglyphical hallmark is on the bottom of each piece. Collectible Oriental Asian Art And Porcelain Decor, Chinese Mythology.
