ANTIQUE MEIJI JAPANESE CAST BRONZE FEMALE FIGURE
A fine quality Meiji period Tokyo School cast bronze figure modeled as a peasant girl looking to her left while turning, and her right hand holding the cord supporting the wicker basket on her back. Beautifully detailed and covered with a deep brown patina. Features a 4-character mark to base. Circa: 1868 to 1912. Antique Japanese Metalware Pieces, Asian Sculptures and Art Collectibles.
