FRENCH LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING BY EMILE DELPHES CHABOD
Emile Delphes Chabod, French, 1845 to 1910, oil painting on canvas depicting a landscape with a solitary man walking into a forest, 1887. Signed and dated, lower left. Framed. Emile Delphes Chabod was a French painter. He was a student of Picot, Signol, and Gerome, he participated in the Prix de Rome Competition in 18652 and debuted at the Salon of 1868. He works as a drawing teacher in Paris schools and lives on rue des Vinaigriers with his children. One of a kind artwork.
