Cover of a portfolio titled Ten Lithographs in Color by Alberto Dutary for Jean Genets Journal of a Thief. Published by Bodley Gallery, David Mann Inc., New York, 1967. Limited edition of 75 copies. The cover features the title and two male nude torsos with grapes. The backside of the piece lists the titles of the artworks, signature of the artist and copy number 1. Alberto Dutary, 1932 to 1998, was a Panamanian Surrealist artist and art teacher. Jean Genet, 1910 to 1986, was a French writer famous for his 1949 autobiography The Thiefs Journal.
