ANTIQUE 18TH C FRENCH ORMOLU AND MARBLE CANDELABRA
A pair of monumental antique French Louis XVI gilt bronze and Carrara marble candelabra. The figural stems of candelabras are modeled as three classically draped maidens supporting foliate scroll arms and center finial. Each is raised on a white marble base decorated with a Neoclassical band depicting a finely detailed image of putties on a hunt, applied gilt bronze rosettes and foliate scroll accents, all on four feet.
