A rare original Israeli metal and enamel street nameplate for Yitzhak Katznelson Street in Netanya. Yitzhak Katznelson is an Israeli mathematician. He was born in Jerusalem. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Paris in 1956. He is a professor of mathematics at Stanford University. Crafted with care and written in English, Hebrew and Arab, the plate serves as a tangible link to the past, bearing witness to the history and development of the area it once marked. Circa the 1940s.
