ANTIQUE CHINESE QING CANTON ENAMEL TRINKET BOX
An antique Chinese Canton-enamel on copper trinket box with hinged lid. Late Qing era, before 1912. The sides are decorated with bats and clouds ornaments. The lid depicts a hand-painted combat scene, a fight between two horsemen. Turquoise blue, yellow, and pink color palette. Canton enamel is a Chinese type of hand-painted enamel ware, named so after the principal place of its manufacture, Canton. Collectible Oriental Decor And Vanity Items.
