RUSSIAN LANDSCAPE PAINTING BY SERGEY GERASIMOV
Oil on board painting by Sergey Gerasimov, 1885 to 1964, Russian artist, student of the impressionist painter Konstantin Korovin who became one of the main figures in the Soviet Artists Union. The artwork is a sketch of a river landscape with a boat and church. Titled On the River Volga on the backside. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Collectible Mid Century fine Art, Nature Landscape Painting.
