Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Matted and framed. John Wesley Dennis, 1903 to 1966, was an American illustrator, known best for fifteen childrens books about horses that he created in collaboration with writer Marguerite Henry. He illustrated over 150 books in his lifetime, including Anna Sewells Black Beauty and John Steinbecks The Red Pony.
