Salvador Dali, Spanish, 1904 to 1989, a limited edition color lithograph on paper, Disappearing Image, after the original oil painting on canvas, 1938. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, lower left. marked with an impressed stamp. Salvador Dali is a Spanish painter, graphic artist, sculptor, director and writer. One of the most famous representatives of surrealism. Modern European Surreal Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles. The painting The Vanishing Image was painted by Salvador Dali in 1938, and a year later was presented to the public at the exhibition Salvador Dali at the Julien Levy Gallery in New York. This is one of the most famous and memorable double images created by the Catalan artist during a long and fruitful career. The Disappearing Image is part of the collection of the Salvador Dali Theater Museum in Figueres and, as a rule, is exhibited in the Fish Market hall. European Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
