Jay Rosenblum, American, 1933 to 1989, an original vintage screenprint in colors on paper, Red, 1978. The artwork depicts a bright abstract composition. Signed by the artist on the lower right margin, inscribed, AP for artists proof, on the lower left. Matted and framed. Note: Jay Rosenblum is an American artist who creates artwork like a sonata, creating a synchronistic compilation with color. Jay Rosenblum has been experimenting with the Visual Stripe motif for over thirty years. In his art, he seeks to correlate his great love for chamber music sonatas with freely evolving blocks of color which like the notes in the music transform the work into a cohesive form of art. The popularity of his form of expressive painting is evident from the fact that he has been chosen by City Walls, Inc. to design two wall murals in New York City.
