Printed quote from the newspaper Pravda, upper right. Edited by I. Astapov. Published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash, Artist of RSFSR, numbered 1830, M 14322, one of 5300, Leningrad, 1969. Marked and copyright in the print, lower right. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century. This phenomenon of mass art is often referred to as such. Givi Lomidze was a Soviet era graphic artist, cartoonist, poster artist.
