A vintage American gouache on paper painting by Suzanne Caporael titled Study No.2 Hans Castrop. Circa 1988 to 1989. The painting depicts the main character of Thomas Manns novel The Magic Mountain, written in 1924. Framed. Label of Richard Gray Gallery with descriptive information on the backside. Suzanne Caporael, born in 1949 is an American artist. Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Carnegie Museum of Art, and the High Museum of Art. American Fine Art, Home Decor, and Wall Art For Collectors. One of a kind artwork.
