Henry Hensche, American, 1899 to 1992, oil painting on board depicting a coastal scene with two human figures and boats. Signed, lower left. Framed. Henry Hensche was a painter and teacher. Hensches work as both a painter and teacher was to advance the ideals of color as the basis for painting. He was most interested in creating visual poetry in the tradition of Claude Monet, while advancing that art movement. Mid Century Still Life Paintings And American Art Collectibles.
