ISTANBUL WATERCOLOR PAINTING BY NIKOLAI SARAPHANOFF
Watercolor on paper painting by Nikolay Saraphanoff, or Sarafanov, a Russian emigre artist active in Istanbul, Turkey, in the 1920s to 1930s, president of the society of Russian artists in Istanbul. The artwork depicts sailing boats on Bosphorus and Suleymaniye Mosque in the distance. Signed by the artist in the lower left. Brown mat, wooden frame. Collectible Graphic Art, Seascape And City Landscape.

Frame 19 5/8 x 15 3/8 in. Inside matte 15 1/2 x 11 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has slight stains. Has a slight scratch in paper. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
