AMERICAN ART GLASS VASE BY DALE PATRICK CHIHULY
An American art glass vase by Dale Patrick Chihuly. The vase is a technically complex modern abstract artwork made of multi colored glass. Dale Patrick Chihuly, born in 1941, is an American glass artist known for his technically complex environmental glass installations. The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston describes Chihulys work as transitioning from glassblowing to full-size sculpture. For example, Chihuly's 2006 Glass Fireworks installation at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis consists of 4,800 multi-colored glass pieces and is 13 meters tall.
