LOLO SOLDEVILLA CUBAN ABSTRACT PAINTING WITH COA
Casein paint on canvas painting by Lolo Soldevilla, 1901 to 1971, a Cuban visual artist, pioneer of Concrete Art, an avantgarde movement with a strong emphasis on geometrical abstraction. This lot is a fine example of the later, mature period in the artists work. The piece represents an abstract composition in red, black, and yellow. Untitled. Signed by the artist and dated 1957 in the lower right. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity. White mat. Collectible Mid Century Modernist Fine Art, Latin American Women Artists.
