ANTIQUE 19TH C RUSSIAN SILVER NIELLO SNUFF BOX - An antique Russian niello 84 silver snuff box with a hinged lid. The exterior of the case is decorated with a nielloed and engraved genre scene. A gold washed interior. On the back there is an engraved checkered pattern, an image of a flower in the center and in the corners. Marked with a standard Russian Silver hallmark and other Cyrillic and Assay marks inside. Dated 1819. Russian Snuff Boxes and Cases, And Silverware Collectibles. Weight: 48 g.
