The memorabilia of former New York Governor Mario Cuomo are becoming sought-out collector’s items, and has inspired artist Peter Max to pay tribute to the Queens native. Pop artist Peter Max did several portraits of Cuomo in the 1970s and 80s, and said he plans to return to the studio to do more as a tribute.Peter Max is known for using bright colors in his work.
