A mixed media art on paper depicting a surreal creature. Signed lower right, eonora Carrington. Leonora Carrington, British, French, Mexican, 1917 to 2011, is known for Narrative, surrealism and dreamscape painting, wood sculpture. Mary Leonora Carrington was a British born surrealist painter and novelist. She lived most of her adult life in Mexico City and was one of the last surviving participants in the surrealist movement of the 1930s.
