Since 1957 he has lived in Moscow. He graduated from the Surikov School of Drawing and the Faculty of Caricature at the Union of Journalists of the USSR. He worked a lot in print as an illustrator and cartoonist in many leading Moscow publishing houses. Since 1987 he has been a member of the group of Moscow artists World of Painting.
