The first drawing depicts a portrait of a man in profile with a dark coat, signed V. Tolkach, dated 1953 and titled Sketch For The Painting, Turgenev And The Landowner Penochkin, lower right. The second drawing depicts an illustration titled Illustration For The Novel By Sergei Sartakov, Sayan Ridges and dated 1955, lower in the center. The third drawing depicts another portrait of an older man with a long beard, signed V. Tolkach, dated 1954 and titled The Chronicler, below the image.
