Bumbeck, American, born 1940, a limited edition etching and aquatint on paper The Black Cat depicting a reclining nude woman with a black cat. Matted and framed. Hand signed in pencil by the artist and dated 1981 on the lower right, titled and numbered 25 of 55 on the lower left. Born in Massachusetts, David A. Bumbeck was educated at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is noted as a figurative printmaker specializing in aquatints and a variety of other techniques. The impressions shown on this website are indicative of his high standards and deserve to be referred to as superb.
