Provenance:It came from the private collection of Mr. Steve Yates Tequesta, FL and and was personally examined by Ms.Barbra Haeger, a professor of History of Art at Ohio State University, renowned for her scholarly work in Northern Baroque art. She expressed the opinion that the painting is by the hand of Jacob Salomonsz van Ruysdael and appraised by the several art specialists including Christies NY.
