MANNER OF OSKAR KOKOSCHKA STILL LIFE WATERCOLOR PAINTING - Watercolor on paper painting. In the manner of Oskar Kokoschka, 1886 to 1980, an Austrian artist and art theorist of the Viennese Expressionist movement. Kokoschkas late work is characterised by the spontaneous, direct technique of watercolour painting. He captured the delicate, fresh colours of models in nature, found in his garden near Lake Geneva, in still lifes of flowers and landscape views. This lot represents a floral still life.
