RUSSIAN 84 SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH - A Russian traditional gilt silver kovsh of a characteristic form featuring an oval shaped bowl and a single handle. The exterior of the kovsh is enameled with a fine multicolor floral patterns manufactured using the cloisonne technique. Set with large gemstones, presumably garnets. The bowl is gold washed inside and bears a pronounced front. Marked with a Russian Silver standard hallmark, and maker marks on the bottom. Total weight 202.1 g. Dimensions L 5 3/8 in. H 1 7/8 in.
