The painting depicts three of seven Japanese gods of luck and prosperity: Budai, Jurojin, and Bishamonten. Personal stamp signature of the artist lower left. Titled lower to the center. Matted and framed. Sanzo Wada, 1883 to 1967 was a Japanese painter and costume designer who won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for his work on the jidaigeki film Gate of Hell , 1953.
