Petr Barinka was born in 1979. He graduated from the studio of Czech sculptor Kurt Gebauer at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He then developed his visual concepts as part of a doctoral program in the painting studio of Prof. Ivan Csudai in Bratislava. Barinka is known as a multimedia visual artist whose work encompasses a wide range of current techniques from painting to sculpture, photography, film to digital printing and animation.
