ATTR TO ZOFIA STRYJENSKA ART DECO GOUACHE PAINTING - Attributed to Zofia Stryjenska, Polish, 1891 to 1976, a gouache painting on canvas laid on masonite board depicting a portrait of a young highlander woman, depicted dancing in a traditional costume. Signed lower right. Framed. Zofia Stryjenska was a Polish painter, graphic designer, illustrator, stage designer, and a representative of Art Deco. Along with Olga Boznanska and Tamara de Lempicka, she was one of the best known Polish women artists of the interwar period.
