LAURENT SCHKOLNYK MEZZOTINT ENGRAVING HOMAGE A VIVALDI
Laurent Schkolnyk, French, born 1953, a mezzotint engraving on paper depicting a violin. Titled Homage a Vivaldi. Signed by the artist and numbered 23 of 90 in pencil lower. Matted and framed. Laurent Schkolnyk studied drawing and etching at the Beaux Art School in Nantes, France, and later studied with Professor Guimezanes, learning the details of the mezzotint technique. Schkolnyk is a master of three-color mezzotint prints. Modern European Prints And Art Collectibles.
