GASTON BETHUNE ANTIQUE 19TH C FRENCH OIL PAINTING - Gaston Bethune, French, 1852 to 1897, an oil on board painting Elegant Lady on the beach. Signed by the artist lower right. Housed in a richly ornate gilt wood and gesso frame. Note: Gaston Bethune was born in 1857. He was a pupil of Jules Noel and Bonnat and went on to exhibit both in salons in Paris and in Lille.
