The artwork represents a ballet scene. Titled Wedding Feast, Coppelia. Signed in the lower right. Provenance: La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art, CA. Golden frame. Coppelia is a French comic ballet from 1870 by Leo Delibes. The Russian 1884 production by choreographer Marius Petipa is now considered the classic version of the ballet.
