MARYAN S. MARYAN ATTR PAINTING OIL ON PANELBOARD - Oil on canvas board painting. Attributed to Pinchas Burstein, known as Maryan S. Maryan, 1927 to 1977, a Polish-born Jewish Post-Expressionist artist. This lot presumably belongs to the mature period of the artists career, ca. 1950s or later, when Burstein moved to Paris from and Israel and took the pseudonym Maryan S. Maryan. The artwork depicts an almost full-length portrait of a young man, executed with the use of the brush handle. Signed in the lower right. Framed. Collectible Mid Century Modernist Fine Art.
