ANTIQUE ENGRAVINGS BY WILLIAM WILLIAMS OXFORD COLLEGES - A pair of antique architectural engravings by William Williams, fl. 1724 to 1733, each offering a detailed and historically rich view of Oxford colleges. The first, titled The Elevation of the West Side of the Exeter College Quadrangle, Oxford, presents an architectural elevation with Latin and English titling, accompanied by a detailed plan of the college grounds and a rectangular scroll inscribed to Stephano. The second, Aula Brata Mariae Virginae Oriel College, formerly St. Marys College, Oxford, depicts a perspective view of the hall, with a smaller inset drawing, plan with key, and Latin inscription recounting its history, dedicated in an escutcheon to Gulielma King.
