Each print is signed by the artist, who gained international acclaim for her innovative, symbol-based artist books. The illustrations were created for the rare publication 2300 Years of Medical Costume, Distinctive Garb of the Medical and Related Professions from the Time of Hippocrates to the Napoleonic Era, circa 1962. Provenance: a well-preserved time capsule from the prestigious Decoration and Design Building in New York City, a renowned trade hub for interior designers.
