An oil painting on canvas after the original artwork by Keith Allen Haring, American, 1958 to 1990. Inscribed K. Haring, and dated 86, lower right. Inscribed to the center left. Framed. Stamped with a certificate of authenticity, on the backside. Keith Haring was an artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. His animated imagery has become a widely recognized visual language. Much of his work includes sexual allusions that turned into social activism by using the images to advocate for safe sex and AIDS awareness.
