INDIAN MIXED MEDIA PAINTING SIGNED PRABHAKAR BARWE
An Indian mixed media painting on paper depicting a Figurative composition. Inscribed and probably dated lower right. Prabhakar Barwe, 1936 to 1995, was a pioneer of Modernist Indian painting. He was active in Mumbai, India. Influenced by the esoteric tradition of Tantric painting, Barwe along with G. R. Santosh, P. T. Reddy, K.C.S. Paniker, Biren De, Om Prakash, K. V. Haridasan, Prafulla Mohanti and Mahirwan Mamtani was considered part of the modernist movement Neo Tantra. Indian Fine Art, Figurative and Symbolist Paintings, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
