AMERICAN LITHOGRAPH AFTER DANIEL RIDGWAY KNIGHT - Monochrome offset lithograph on paper, after the 1888 painting titled Calling the Ferryman, or Hailing the Ferry, by Daniel Ridgway Knight, American, 1893 to 1924. The original is now in the collection of Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Matted and framed. Knight was a pupil at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris, under Gleyre, and later worked in the private studio of Meissonier. After 1872 he lived in Poissy, France.
