The sugar bowl has a basket like design with a high handle with a gold washed interior. The exterior of the bowl and the handle are decorated with a pattern of blue and white enamel, forming floral and geometric shapes. The sugar bowl is paired with a pair of ornate silver sugar tongs that also feature similar enamel work. Both are marked with a Russian silver standard marks and manufacturer marks.
