VINTAGE 20TH C JUDAICA SILVER CHARITY BOX - A vintage Judaica rectangular silver charity box, dating from the 20th century. It features wooden top and base elements with rounded edges. The silver sides are elaborately decorated with a diamond-patterned background with oval frames contains the Hebrew word Tzedakah, which means charity. Ornate scrollwork frames the patterned background. The top of the box has a slot for inserting coins or bills. The word Tzedakah is engraved within the oval cartouches.
