Signed, inscribed and dated 1942 in pencil, lower left. Additionally inscribed in pencil, lower to the center. A newspaper clip with a printed artwork, on the backside. Framed. Marcel Vertes was a French costume designer and illustrator of Hungarian Jewish origins.
