Renz of the Luftwaffe on 17 June 1940 by Reichsfuhrer Adolf Hitler. Features a pattee cross with a single-piece iron core mounted on a frame, the obverse bears a canted, embossed swastika with the date 1939 on the lower arm, while the reverse is marked 1813. The decoration includes suspension oak leaves, comes with its ribbon and presentation box, and is accompanied by a portrait of Oberleutnant G. Renz with an inscription.
