LIMITED ED COLOR LITHOGRAPHS BY FRANZ PRIKING - A pair of limited edition color lithographs on paper by the German artist Franz Priking, 1927 to 1979. The first artwork depicts a view of Venice. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right and numbered, 21 of 120, lower left. The second lithograph depicts a bouquet with flowers in a vase. Signed in pencil by the artist lower right and numbered, 20 of 120, lower left. Both are framed. Franz Priking, born Pricking, is a German painter and lithographer born in 1929 in Mulheim and died in 1979. Franz Priking, painter of landscapes, animals, and still lifes and painter of mixed techniques, who always preferred to paint in the Expressionist style. In 1958, Priking was the winner of the Young Painting Prize in Paris. Other notable recognitions include becoming an elected member of the International Institute of Arts and Letters of Geneva in 1961, and the prize of the Mediterranean Union of Modern Art in 1972 and the Leonard de Vinci Prize.
