Unframed. Thor Bogelund graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In the 1910s, he belonged to the circle of modernists in the Association Young Art and later became a leading figure in the Danish advertising poster, where he was influenced by the factual, simple and colorful expression of the German advertising aesthetic.
